McDonald's - Happy Meal Mascotathon

為了慶祝倫敦奧運會即將到來，以及宣導全球兒童均衡飲食與快樂運動的理念，麥當勞英國快樂兒童餐在四月推出了 "Mascotathon" 活動，Mascotathon 是由 Mascot（吉祥物）和 Marathon（馬拉松）所組合的一個新單詞，這個吉祥物馬拉松活動藉由可追蹤能量消耗的快樂兒童餐運動玩具，讓孩子們用踏步、跳躍的運動方式參與，然後到活動網站輸入他們的得分，使奧運會吉祥物 Wenlock 和殘障奧運會吉祥物 Mandeville 能從英國各地跑到倫敦及時參加奧運會，沒想到快樂兒童餐的玩具能玩得這麼有意義，真的是很棒的一個活動。

廣告配樂源自於1937年的《Heidi》這部電影，故事背景是十九世紀的瑞士阿爾卑斯山脈，小孤女海蒂被送去和隱世而居的祖父同住，當時祖父正因兒子離開他而感內心痛苦，可愛的海蒂很快就溶解了老人家冷酷的外表，不料邪惡的阿姨偷偷把海蒂帶走，賣去給有錢人家當僕人，主人有個生病的女兒，她在海蒂的安慰和鼓舞下重新振作起來，爺爺也在千辛萬苦之下終於跟孫女團圓。

小孤女海蒂這角色是由美國電影史上最出色的童星之一  —  Shirley Temple 所飾演，麥當勞廣告配樂便是來自電影中她穿著木鞋邊跳邊演唱的 "In Our Little Wooden Shoes" 這首歌曲，孩子們跳舞的片段真的真的是太可愛了 ~
